Background: One of the world's major airlines -- BOAC -- is planning a new jet service across the North Atlantic late this year. In the meantime, test flights are being carried out. The new flight service will utilize Comet Fours. And now in one of the test flights a comet has made the TRIP from London to Gander in less than five-and-a-half-hours. The test flights will be continued. They are being made to familiarize pilots with the route -- and the handling of the aircraft. The new North-Atlantic Service, if it goes into effect as scheduled, will be one of the fastest in the world.
