Background: Two persons were slightly injured from flying glass splinters and given first aid treatment before being released, when a small explosive charge went off yesterday in the Paperhouse Boutique on the third floor of the TA Shalom Tower Department Store. Seven people were taken in for questioning but several of them were released the same evening. After a first announcement that the explosion was the result of an electrical misconnection, the Police later found evidence to confirm that indeed it was sabotage. The blast is thought to have been set off by a timed device. The exploration occurred at about 11:45am when the store was crowded with shoppers and business went on as usual.
