    Fyodor Kulakov, 60, member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Soviet Communist party and party secretary, died suddenly on Monday (July 17) in Moscow. The cause of his death, as it was reported, was a heart attack.

    Mr Kulakov was born in 1918 in Central Russia. he graduated institute of agriculture an became Communist party member in 1940. In 1965 he was elected secretary of the Communist party Central Committee, and in 1971 - member of the Politburo. Mr Kulakov's main job was to provide party policy in the field of agriculture.

    The funeral was held at the Red Square. The ashes was installed in the Kremlin wall. Present at the funeral were members of the Politburo, top Soviet officials, friends and relatives of Mr Kulakov.
