SYNOPSIS: An agreement was signed at the President's residence in Libreville last Friday by which France agreed to give financial aid for the development of a broadcasting centre.
President Bongo signed the agreement for Gabon...as President, he's also the Minister of Information. And representing French Embassy. The broadcasting centre will be established in the south of the country, in Franceville...with the aid of a French grant that will go mainly towards the construction of transmitters. The French government has a long history of presence in Gabon, and in the post-colonial days this continues in the shape of aid and cooperation.
