Mr. Joshua Nkomo, the co-leader of the Patriotic Front, says his struggle has been for universal suffrage in Rhodesia, and now the people will have to choose who they think will run the country best. Mr. Nkomo made the remark on Tuesday (18 December) a day after he initialled a final ceasefire agreement at the end of the London talks on the future of Rhodesia. The agreement gave the Patriotic Front a sixteenth assembly point for its forces and the concession that the Rhodesian Governor Lord Soames could provide more if necessary. Visnews reporter John Darby asked Mr. Nkomo about his plans.
