Background: On the banks of the Thach Han river earlier this week, Vietcong representatives released a further 300 prisoners of war to the South Vietnamese.
The prisoners looked in good health and were examined by doctors from both sides.
Members of the International Commission of Control and Supervision -- the ICCS -- were on hand to see that the exchange went smoothly.
As in previous release sessions, some of the prisoners were visibly overcome with their newly-gained freedom. Most of them were welcomed by local civilians and relatives.
