Background: General George Grivas, former EOKA leader and actually Chief of the National Regenaration Centre Party, undertook this weekend another anti-government campaign tour in Besotia, Central Greece. He visited Thebes, Vaya and Orhomenos and spoke to the crowds on the government "treacherous and corrupted policy and behaviour". He attacked the present Greek Government's policy towards the rural areas and unveiled it's attempts to vote a kind of electoral system through which it will be allowed to remain in power even by getting less than 45% of the votes in the general elections. Grivas also gave an account of the Government wastefulness insisting that millions are being spent to useless works, while people in rural areas and the provinces are starving. He finally promised a better life standard should his party comes in power in the forthcoming general elections.
