Background: Less than a week ago, the U.S. Air Force sent F-105D "Thunderchief" jet fighter-bombers on missions over North Vietnam. This film records two of these missions.

The first sequence shows a bombing run on the Dap Cau by-pass 17 miles north-east of Hanoi. Seven-hundred-fifty-pond bombs were dropped on the target as recorded by the "Thunderchief's" aft blister camera on September 30.

The following day, "Thunderchief" pilots attacked the Kept Air Field again with 750-pound bombs. The attack was filmed by two strike aircraft. The first film sequence is from the aircraft's gun camera. A second aircraft filmed the strike from its aft blister camera position. The two different angles show the many hits on the air field, and the damage caused.
