  • Description

Major-General Jaafar Mohamed El-Nimeiry, Sudan's Prime Ministers, has been discussing the world problems of the 'non-aligned' countries with President Tito in Belgrade. Prim Minster Nemeiry arrived on June 16 a four-day visit.

The meeting is in anticipation of an important summit of the non-aligned countries to be held in Lusaka, Zambia, in September.

In the early stages of their talks, President Tito and Major-General El Nimeiry discussed the Middle East and Indo-China.

Both leaders expressed support for the Arab countries in their struggle with Israel, and both were reported to support the Government of Prince Norodom Sihanouk, overthrown as Cambodian Head of State in a coup d'Etat three months ago. They agreed that the Prince's Government and the Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam should take part in Lusaka summit.
