The seventh game of the 24-game tournament to decide the World Chess Champion began in Roykjavik on Tuesday (25 July), with defending Champion borie Spasaky of the Soviet Union and Bobby Fischer of the United States noticeably more relaxed. Experts were in agreement that Fischer, after a crushing 6th-game win, had a decided advantage. The seventh game was later adjourned and eventually drawn. Fischer then held a 4-3 points advantage over Spassky. Meanwhile Fischer's dispute with American photographer Chester Fox, who holds the television and filming rights of the Championship play, has continued.
