  • Description

The wild rampage after Robin Douglas-Hume goes in Stockholm. Day and night journalists and cameramen watch all his movements, but Mr Hume juggle them always.

From early in the morning they wait outside Mr. Smiley' home. But for nothing. They only get a very very short glimpse when Robin with highest speed drives away in a car accompanied with one or two police cars While the police cars prevent the press to drive past Mr. Hume disappear. Where i he? At the Embassy or in the Royal Palace, by friends? Robin is everywhere and always he juggles us.

Robin has twice had lunch and twice dinner at Princess Sibylla and Princess Margaretha but he has not yet met the King and before that no engagement. He has also visited the Sa Esselte where he studied the production.

But to-day Mr Hume suddenly was very kind - and now we all think the engagement will be announced soon - and entered the Royal Palace and Princess Sibylla's apartment he usual way and finally we get these pictures. But none of Princess Margaretha. The are not permitted to be seen together before the engagement.

This afternoon Robin and Margaret are driving - as always in two cars and as yesterday perhaps in police cars - to friends at the Sturefors Castles to the Countess of Bielke 120 miles from Stockholm but when and where and how nobody knows.

We have however always two photographers watching them and hope to could send you a better coverage of the two young people. Through the Foreign Office we hope to get a permission to film the engagement at the Royal Palace if it will be announced this time. The odds is to-day 40-60. We are here in Sweden very much provoked that the Court not will say yes or no and all are sympathized with Mr Hume.
