    HE SPENT MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR INSPECTING THE GRAVES OF ABOUT SIX AND HALF THOUSAND COMMONWEALTH TROOPS, WHO DIED IN THE BURMA CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE JAPANESE, AND 27,000 TABLET TO SERVICEMEN WHOSE BODIES WERE NEVER RECOVERED.
