    Mayor Willy Brandt of West Berlin began the second day of his visit to the United States Tuesday (13 April) by placing a wreath on the grave of President John F.Kennedy in Arlington National Cemetery across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C.

    Brandt arrived at Kennedy International Airport in New York City Monday (12 April), held a brief news conference, then took another plane to Washington.

    After the wreath-laying Tuesday, Brandt was scheduled to talk with U.S.Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara.Then he was to make a quick roundtrip to New York for a Freedom Award dinner for former President Harry Truman.

    Brandt is to confer with President Johnson Wednesday (April 14).
