Dr. Henry kissinger, U.S. negotiator and President Nixon's security adviser, made a stopover in London on Thursday (14 September) on his way home from important trade talks in Moscow. He arrived at Heathrow Airport amid strict security. Dr. Kissinger had been negotiating a special deal, with top Soviet officials aimed at greatly expanding trade between the two countries...according to a recent statement issued by the White House. It's understood that the White House is expecting an Agreement to be completed by the end of the year. In London, Dr. Kissinger was taken to the Foreign Office where the discussed the outcome of his Moscow talks with Britain's Foreign Secretary, Sir Alec Douglas-Home. They also examined prospects for a European security conference.
