    The Laotian Prime Minister, Prince Souvanna Phouma, met with the British Foreign Secretary, Sir Alec Douglas-Home, at the Foreign Office in London today (Wednesday October 14). In their 45-minute meeting they discussed developments in Laos and Indo-China in general.

    As British Foreign Secretary, Sir Alec is a co-chairman of the 1954 Geneva Conference on Indo-China and the 1962 Geneva Conference which agreed to make and keep Laos neutral.

    The other co-chairman is the Soviet Foreign Minister, Mr. Andrei Gromyko, who will be paying an official visit to london later this month.

    The Prince arrived in London yesterday from Brussels and held brief talks with the British Prime Minister Mr. Edward Heath. He is on a tour of western European capitals after which he will go to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly and later to Washington for talks with the American Government.

    No details of the Prince's talks with the British leaders were released.
