    A FEW HOURS BEFORE UNITED STATES PRESIDENT RICHARD NIXON ARRIVED IN BRUSSELS TODAY (SUNDAY) A GROUP CALLED THE 'YOUNG SOCIALIST GUARD' STAGE A DEMONSTRATION IN THE STREETS OF THE BELGIAN CAPITAL CARRYING ANTI-AMERICAN PLACARDS.

    THE DEMONSTRATION AGAINST THE VISIT BEGAN WITH THE HOISTING OF A VIET CONG FLAG ON BRUSSELS TOWN HALL. THE MARCHERS CHANTED "UNITED STATES GO HOME" AND "NIXON GO HOME" AND URGED THAT THESE CHANTS GREET MR. NIXON WHEN HE ARRIVED.

    POLICE REINFORCEMENTS MOVED INTO BRUSSELS TODAY TO GUARD THE PRESIDENT DURING HIS 20 HOUR VISIT. HE IS ACCOMPANIED BY OVER A HUNDRED UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICEMEN.
