    Iran and Tunisia have agreed to increase economic co-operation and trade between their two countries, following a three-day official visit to Tunisia by Iranian Prime Minister Amir Abbas Hoveida.

    Mr. Hoveida, who arrived in Tunis on Tuesday (22 May), told newsmen he had discussed the Middle East situation and other current problems during his talks with President Habib Bourguiba.

    The Tunisian head of state presented a framed photograph of himself to Mr. Hoveida on Thursday at his residence at Kasserine, 140 miles (225 KM) south of Tunis.

    SYNOPSIS: Mr. Hoveida had talks with President Habib Bourguiba on the Middle East situation and other current problems. The two leaders agreed during their discussions to expand trade between their two countries and to increase their economic co-operation.
