    FOREIGN MINISTERS OF THE NON-ALIGNED NATIONS MET IN CAIRO YESTERDAY (THURSDAY) TO PREPARE AN AGENDA FOR THE NON-ALIGNED SUMMIT CONFERENCE OF FIFTY-SEVEN STATES DUE TO BEGIN THERE ON MONDAY.

    AMONG THE FOREIGN MINISTER PRESENT WERE THOSE FROM TUNISIA, SIERRA LEONE, SUDAN, INDIA, THE REPUBLIC OF THE YEMEN, MEXICO AND LIBERIA.

    THE MINISTERS HAVE BEFORE THEM A DRAFT AGENDA, DRAWN UP BY SPONSORING NATIONS AT A COLOMBO MEETING EARLIER THIS YEAR. THE SUBJECT ON THE DRAFT INCLUDE PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE, RACIAL DISCRIMINATION AND APARTHEID. OTHER MATTERS DUE FOR DISCUSSIONS INCLUDE DISARMAMENT, THE PROHIBITION OF NUCLEAR TESTS, FOREIGN BASES AND CO-OPERATION IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

    THE SUMMIT MEETING OPENING HERE ON MONDAY IS THE FIRST NON-ALIGNED SUMMIT MEETING SINCE THE HISTORIC BELGRADE CONFERENCE OF 1961. PRESIDENT TITO, WHO IS ON HIS WAY TO CAIRO TO HEAD THE YUGOSLAVIAN DELEGATION, HAS SAID HE BELIEVES THE CONFERENCE WILL HAVE STILL MORE INFLUENCE ON "POSITIVE MOVEMENTS IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD" THAN THE BELGRADE MEETING.
