    GHANA'S MILITARY RULER, GENERAL ANKRAH TODAY (MONDAY) CONFERRED IN LONDON WITH THE BRITISH PRIME MINISTER MR. WILSON, AND LEADING BRITISH MINISTERS. THEIR DISCUSSIONS ARE REPORTED TO HAVE COVERED COMMONWEALTH AND WORLD AFFAIRS, WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON THE RHODESIAN SITUATION.

    BEFORE MEETING MR. WILSON AT THE PRIME MINISTER'S RESIDENCE IN DOWNING STREET, GENERAL ANKRAH VISITED THE COMMONWEALTH RELATIONS OFFICE WHERE HE HAD AN HOUR-LONG MEETING WITH THE COMMONWEALTH SECRETARY, MR. THOMSON, AND THE FOREIGN SECRETARY, MR. GEORGE BROWN.

    A STATEMENT FROM THE COMMONWEALTH RELATIONS OFFICE AFTER THE DISCUSSIONS SAID TALKS THERE HAD CENTRED ON MATTERS OF COMMONWEALTH INTEREST. REUTER QUOTING INFORMED SOURCES, SAID RHODESIA AND THE PRESENT INTERNAL CONFLICT IN NIGERIA WERE INCLUDED ON THE AGENDA.

    MR. THOMSON AND GENERAL ANKRAH ARE ALSO REPORTED TO HAVE DISCUSSED MR. THOMSON'S FORTHCOMING VISIT TO AFRICAN CAPITALS. THE COMMONWEALTH SECRETARY IS DUE TO LEAVE ON OCTOBER 24 FOR DISCUSSIONS WITH A NUMBER OF AFRICAN LEADERS.

    THE GHANIAN LEADER'S DISCUSSIONS WITH THE PRIME MINISTER ARE REPORTED TO HAVE COVERED WIDER ISSUES INCLUDING WORLD AFFAIRS. HE JOINED MR. WILSON FOR LUNCHEON AFTER THE DISCUSSIONS.

    GENERAL ANKRAH IS DUE TO HAVE SEPARATE DISCUSSIONS WITH THE DEFENCE MINISTER, MR. DENIS HEALEY AND THE FOREIGN SECRETARY.
