Thousands of spectator lined the streets of Taipei to cheer the players as they drove through the city in a motorcade.
The Taiwanese All-Star baseball team won the 1974 Little League-Big League world Series at Fort Lauderdale, Florida on August 17. They beat a Untied States team 2-0 to win the title for the first time.
The returning players also included a Reibo team which beat a North Carolina ???guod 5-1 on the same day in Yudians to win the Senior Little League world Series title. It was the third consecutive victory for Taiwan.
Meanwhile hopes are running high that another team from Maohsiung will successfully defend their Little Dengue title in milliamoport, Pennsylvania which they have won five years in a row.
