ROLL FILM ???. The weekend saw a new experience for PRINCE CHARLES when he visited the FAUMA RESERVE at HARLEY'S CREECK, about 14 miles north of CAIRNS.
GALAH PREENING FEATHERS. The pet GALAH preened herself to welcome the ROYAL visitor who was greeted on arrival by the owner of the reserve, MR. GEORGER ZILIFIEISCH and his son GARY....
FREDING CASSAWARIES. The two CASSAWARIES were among the first to be introduced to the PRINCE.........their names....ADAM AND EVE who once again succumbed to the temptation of an apple or two.
FEEDING CROCS. But perhaps the PRINCE'S main interest was in the croos.......BIG GEORGE didn't need much tempting with this tasty morsel......
SECOND CROC. His mate CHARLIE is notorious........he ??? attached his keeper and took part of his hand........he obviously preferred feeding off his hand rather than out of it......
THIRD CROC. MYRTLE is a 16 year old and was caught during a flood outside the MASCNIC TEMPLE in CAIRNS in 1956.........the obliged her ROYAL admirer with a death roll.......
CROC ROLLING. The death roll is to finish off the victim and drag it under........
CROC ASLEEP. After dinner a short map, but don't be deceived by that complacent smile on CHARLIES FACE........he's a maneater.
CHARLES WITH POSSUM. Never smile at a crocodile......but you can make friends with a gliding possum...... This cute little number who has achieved fame by appearing on our new decimal coinage, backed in the warmth of Royal approval.....
CHARLES PEELS NOSE. The PRINCE remarked that hi long seemed to hold a special attraction for the possum.
FLYING FOX. The flying fox was not so cuddlesome.
CHARLES HOLDS DINGO PUP. ....But the DINGO pup completely won young CHARLES HEART.
