Background: Maulana Syed Abulaala Maudoodi founder chief of Jammat-i-Isalami founded his party on 25th of August, 1941 in undivided in India. Maulana now about sixty eight not keeping good health is not in position to tour the country like his other opponent but where ever he goes draws large following. Pakistan being predomently a Muslim country where religion plays a great role in politics Maulana and his party has great influence in Pakistan. Admitted even by his opponent he has well organised party up to village level and having branches in almost every corner of Pakistan. Jammat-i-Islami has announced to put up candidates in coming election to be held on 5th of Oct. 70. from every seat for central as well as provincial assemblies.

Maulana is addressing in Karachi after a bout five years.

The meeting was biggest addressed by any political leader so far in Karachi.
