Background: The Vice Chairman of the Ghanaian National Liberation Council, Mr. Harlley, visited the offices of a West German television team in Accra last Thursday (31 August).

The television team, which is from the Friedrich-Elbert Foundation, is producing educational films for Secondary schools in Ghana. This is the first project of its kind in developing African countries and the Ghanaians hope to take it over next year.

Mr. Harlley's visit was part of a routine inspection of technical aid projects being carried on in Ghana. He looked at film editing, audio recording and animation sections of the studio.

The West German team has produced 54 films in the last two years for the Ghanaian government.
