    Mexican Federal police who on Tuesday (16 March) arrested 19 young members of a group thought to be plotting to overthrow the Mexican Government, uncovered a collection of firearms, large sums of money from bank raids, photographic and radio equipment, and masses of communist literature when they searched their hideouts in five cities. The members of the group, which called itself the "Movement Of Revolutionary Action", are believed to have studied at the Patrice Lumumba Friendship University in Moscow and in North Korea, and are reported to have confessed to varying charges laid against them. The charges include conspiracy and incitement to rebellion, criminal association, robbery with violence, murder, stockpiling of arms, and falsification of official documents. Another twenty known members of the group are being sought by the police. The arrested leader has reportedly threatened diplomatic kidnappings in reprisal for the arrests.
