I can identify the lady who launched H.M.S. Resource on 27th November 1928. She is Lady Headlam, the wife of Sir Cuthbert Headlam, a Member of Parliament (see Wikipedia). I cleared the books from the family home in Bath and I have photographs of the event, uncaptioned, but clearly taken at the same event as featured in this newsreel and the Pathe Newsreel with the following details: Film ID 766.02 Media Urn 35402, Canister G1559. I also purchased a small box presented to her at the launch. This has a gold label attached recording the event. I can send supporting photographs, if you wish.
Best Wishes
Chris Phillips
