    The 31st Session of the Arab Economic unity Council was opened in Baghdad this morning. 12 Arab states including Iraq, Libya, the democratic republic of Yemen, Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Somalia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, the Sudan, the Arab republic of Yemen in addition to Severak specialised Arab organizations are attending the 3-day gathering following the opening Ceremony the Conferees elected the RCC member and Iraqi minister of trade Mr. Hassan Ali Chairman of the present Session. In his address on the Occasion Mr. Ali Confirmed that the economic integration among the Arab Countries represents an important step on the way to Unify the Nation.

    The RCC member expressed the hope that the discussions will yield fruitful outcome to support the Arab joint market and asked all the Arab Countries to join the newly-founded Arab economic organization???
    In Conclusion Mr. Ali expressed Iraq's readiness to back the con'd Arab joint economic Projects in the Various domains.

    During their 3-day debate the Conferees will review the Council's financial and administrative affairs and a plan of action for the next five years.
