AUSTRIAN GOALKEEPER FRAYDL LET THE BALL SLIP OUT OF HIS HANDS AND VORONIN DASHED IN AND SCORED FROM FOUR YARDS.

    THE SOVIET UNION, WHO ARE TO PLAY ITALY, CHILE AND NORTH KOREA IN GROUP FOUR OF THE WORLD CUP FINALS, SCORED THEIR NARROW VICTORY BEFORE A CROWD OF 67,000 IN THE VIENNA STADIUM.
