    The clock was turned back at Fords Motor Factory, near New York City, on October 22 when a 1909 Ford "T" car rolled off the 1959 production line to mark Ford's half-century in the car industry.

    Although 2 1/4 feet taller and 6 feet shorter than the 1959 Ford Custom 300 which proceeded it off the line, the 1909 Ford "T" had lost none of its former glory. When the "T" models rolled off the line fifty years ago it took the average Americans 86 weeks to buy one, now it only taken 26 weeks for the Custom 300/
