    The coach of the American Davis Cup Squad Pancho Gonzales, began an intensive training programme at Memorial Drive this afternoon - only an hour after completing an almost unbroken flight from the United States. Newsreel begins as Gonzales and "Chuck" McKinley lead the American team onto the courts for the 'work out'.

    Gonzales was particularly eager to begin a hard training programme after his long flight.

    First, he practised with Martin Reissen. The five men team arrived on Sunday and spent nine of its first thirty hours in Adelaide on the courts.

    McKinley was also looking for hard work after recovering from his back injury. Gonzales paused between play to give instruction..in this case to Frank Froehling who is still regarded as a little out of form.

    Ralston, who won the men's singles final in Melbourne. The training will continue tomorrow.
