The Prime Minister of Ghana, Dr. Kofia Busia, arrived in Bonn today (16th November) for a five-day official visit to West Germany. Dr. Busia and his wife were met at the airport by Dr. Erhard Eppler, the West German Minister for Economic Cooperation, who was standing in for Chancellor Willi Brandt, who is ill. President Heinemann met Dr. Busia when he arrived at Willi Brandt's residence later in the afternoon.
Talks in the Foreign and Economic Cooperation Ministers are scheduled for Tuesday as well as with organisations helping Ghana in education.
During his stay in West Germany Dr. Busia will visit Dortmund, in the Ruhr industrial area; Bremen, where he will preach a sermon in the city's famous Christus Church; and Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Wiesbaden.
Dr. Busia and his party will leave Germany on Friday for Zurich and them Yugoslavia. The Ghanian Prime Minister recently out short an official visit to Canada to attend the funeral of General Charles de Gaulle.
