    SCU Bob Hope speaks:- "I want tell you I am very thrilled to be here, ladies & gentlemen. I am just here to make a little appearance at the Palladium & also t see 'Son of Pale face' & see Jane Russell, Jane Russell - I'll say that twice, I can't get enough of that - Jane Russell." (Laughter)



    FCU Bob hope continues:-



    "I just want to say that it was a wonderful trip on this United States. It was a great trip, a beautiful ship & I understand that the Cunard line gave it a 21 torpedo salute when it came in tonight." (Laughter)



    Southampton, England: I think that's real sweet. Also I want to say that my Dad, Mr. Crosby, is coming over here. WE are going to do (laughter) a big golf match for the National Playing Fields Association on September 23rd at Maidenhead - a hilly course, and if we can get the adrenalin for old Bing we play a great game - 5 cents a 100.
