Background: Fears of demonstrations at the Eurovision Song contest, to be held in Dublin tomorrow (April 3), have led to extra security precautions in and around the Gaiety Theatre, venue for the show. Radio Telefis Eireann, Eire's broadcasting company which is organising the contest, said some minority groups might stage demonstrations outside the theatre -- but tight security would make it impossible for them to get inside. One group, Sinn Fein, is opposed to Eire's entry into the Common Market, and another group opposes English language broadcasts on Irish Television.
