The scenic Mangyon Dae is situated to the Southwest of Pyongyong. It is the native village of Premier Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people and the place where he spend his childhood.
Premier Kim Il Sung was born to the home of a poor peasant. The land tilled by his grand-parents was rented from a landlord, which meant long years of impoverishment of the entire family.
