    THE EXECUTIVE JET, WHICH CAN SEAT BETWEEN SEVEN AND ELEVEN PEOPLE, COSTS 800,000 U.S. DOLLARS FULLY EQUIPPED, AND WILL COMPETE WITH THE AMERICAN LEAR JET AND JET COMMANDER, THE FRENCH DASSAULT MYSTERE 20, AND THE BRITISH HS 125 IN THE PERSONNEL TRANSPORT AND AIRLINE FEEDER SERVICE MARKET.

    THE HFB 320 HANSA IS POWERED BY TWO AMERICAN GEC JET ENGINES, WHICH GIVE IT A CRUISING SPEED OF 500 M.P.H. (APPROX. 850 KMS AN HOUR).

    IN MAY 1965 ONE OF THESE AIRCRAFT CRASHED 80 MILES (APPROX. 129 KMS) EAST OF MADRID, KILLING A PILOT.

    IT WENT INTO A SPIN DURING STALL TESTS, BUT THE COMPANY IS SAID TO HAVE INSTALLED A SAFETY DEVICE TO PREVENT THIS HAPPENING AGAIN.
