    Defending champions Arsenal repeated last year's triumph by coming from behind to beat Stoke City 2-1 in their English Football Association semi-final Cup replay in Liverpool on Wednesday (April 19).

    A crowd of 50-thousand saw Arsenal clinch their place in the Cup Final at Wembley with a penalty goal by Charlie George and the winner from John Radford, against a first-half penalty goal for Stoke by Jimmy Greenhoff.

    Both Arsenal goals were scored in the second half. Arsenal did most of the attacking and twice in the first half hit the Stoke goal posts - while trying to win the equaliser.

    The English Football Association Cup Final between Arsenal and Leeds United will be held at Wembley on May 6.

    SYNOPSIS: A big match for two English Football Association clubs on Wednesday. Stoke City - wearing white - met Arsenal on neutral ground, in Liverpool, for a replay of their semi-final Cup match. The first goal came after this incident....Jimmy Greenhoff is brought down, and referee Keith Walker awards a penalty...

    Greenhoff himself takes the kick. Jeff Barnet in goal for Arsenal... A perfect penalty - no chance for Barnet. One - nil to Stoke City, after about 18 minutes.

    Before half-time Arsenal might well have equalised. John Armstrong hit the cross bar, and Charlie George, number 10 here, came really close....Banks was beaten - the shot hit the post. A let-off for Stol and at half-time they still lead by one goal to nil....
    Ten minutes into the second half, Arsenal attack; Dobing challenges - and the second penalty of the match - this time to Arsenal.

    Charlie George - number 10 takes it. Another perfect penalty kick - Banks went the wrong way. The teams back on level terms, and a place in the Wembley Final to play for....
    And now - with just about a quarter of and hour to go - the winner - for Arsenal. Arsenal beginning an attack on the right. Armstrong puts the ball up to number 10, Charlie George. He's on side...Radford number 9, in the middle. And that's the winning goal...Arsenal are through to Wembley, and the Cup Final on May 6th....
