    The Reverend Nbabaningi Sithole, Chairman of the Zimbabwe of the Zimbabwe Liberation Council on Saturday (31 July) launched a book in Nairobi, Kenya, based on his experiences in a Rhodesian prison.

    SYNOPSIS: The book, "Letters from a Salisbury Prison" was first shown to the public at a book exhibition. The letters were written during Reverend Sithole's ten years in prison and were smuggled out by other prisoners and warders.

    Many of the letters were written to former British Prime Minister, Mr. Edward Heath and his Foreign Minister, Sir Alec Douglas Home. Reverend Sithole thanked those who helped him produce the book.

    Reverend Sithole also commented on the guerrilla war in Rhodesia when interviewed in Nairobi.
