  • Description

London's Van Horse Parade Society held their 46th show in London, Apr 18, as 74 smartly groomed horses and vans paraded before an Easter Holiday crowd of 10,000 gathered in sunlit Regents Park.

Entries for this popular event included a miniature pony, only 28 inches tall, driven by 8-year-old Carole Fewster, and a pair of donkeys driven by Miss P. Fewster. There was also a Victorian hansom cab, and a coach had four which went by to the shrill sound of a coachman's horn.

Owing to the reduced number of entries this year it is proposed to combine the parade in future years with that of the London Cart Horse Parade Society.
