    Players due to compete at this year's Wimbledon All England Tennis Championships took part in rounds of friendly games at Hurlingham on sunday (21 June). Officials and players mingled at the pleasant traditional curtain raiser to Wimbledon which starts on Monday (June 22).

    Hurlingham is a chance for old friends to meet and the ladies to wear the latest fashions. Arthur Ashe, the black United States player who was refused permission to play in South Africa earlier this year spoke to reporters:
