Arab terrorists struck in the Israeli seaside resort of Nathanya on Thursday. Two cars were destroyed when bombs, believed to have been planted by members of one of the Palestine Liberation organisations, exploded. No one was reported injured.
Nathanya, a place popular not only with Israelis, but also with visitors to the country, is about 22 miles (35 Kms) north of Tel Aviv. Immediately following the explosions police searched for more charges. None were found.
Within the past 24-hours there were several other incidents which showed the determination of Arab guerrillas to make the official temporary truce a very uneasy one for Israel.
Two Israeli soldiers were reported killed and four wounded in an attack by guerrillas on an Israeli position near the Lebanese border. The Israelis returned the fire.
