    THE CONGOLESE MINISTERS BROUGHT PRESIDENT NYERERE A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT MOBUTU OF THE CONGO. THEY AND THEIR DELEGATION OF SEVEN MET THE TANZANIAN LEADER AND SEVERAL OF HIS MINISTERS LAST NIGHT (WEDNESDAY) AT HIS BEACH HOUSE NEAR DAR-ES-SALAAM.

    THEY DISCUSSED POSSIBLE HELP TO ZAMBIA IN GETTING HER VITAL COPPER EXPORTS TO THE SEA. A DISPUTE HAS CUT THE NORMAL ROUTE SOUTHWARDS THROUGH RHODESIA, WHERE THE ILLEGAL REGIME OF MR IAN SMITH HAD DEMANDED ADVANCE PAYMENT IN HARD CURRENCY FOR TRAINLOADS OF COPER BOUND FOR THE PORTUGUESE PORT OF BEIRA.
