CONRAD: "For the climax of our show... We're going to have the Skylab 500. Can you get a pretty good picture of the dome? Do you see about half the lockers?"
CONTROL: "That's fine, we've got it."
CONRAD: "Okay. We're ready to roll."
COMMENTARY: "Pete Conrad told Mission Control that the weightless astronauts have had no problem with motion sickness -- not problem moving around. After this demonstration, no-one will argue that statement."
UNIDENTIFIED ASTRONAUT: "Well, Pete's doing a couple of freestyle manoeuvres here... He didn't get many points for that one. Well, I'll tell you one thing. The Fort Conrad boys would ???ure have a blast up here along with every other kid in the United States if they could ever get inside it. Beats Disneyland and everything else."

Background: The three United States Skylab astronauts put their weightlessness to spectacular effect on Friday (June 1) with a display of space gymnastics for their earthbound audience.
Commander Pete Conrad and his crew climbed into Skylab's observatory dome. There they raced round the vertical walls, kept upright by centrifugal force, for what Conrad described as the Skylab 500 -- a reference to the recent Indianapolis 500 race in the U.S. Their running was interspersed with the occasional double and triple somersault.
