Background: Hungary's airport Budapest, saw more international show business personalities on Friday (February 25) than probably ever before on any day. For overseas arrivals there included stars like Susannah York, Michael Caine, Ringo Starr, and Princess Grace of Monaco -- in Budapest to attend the lavish celebrations for film star Elizabeth Taylor's fortieth birthday on Sunday (February 27). Miss Taylor and her husband, Richard Burton paid all the flight and hotel expenses for their guests.

Her husband Reiner couldn't go. Other quests included actress Raquel Welch, poet Stephen Spender and playwright Emlyn Williams, Singer Frank Sinatra was among those who couldn't attend.
