    The little town UMANACK on Greenland celebrated for the first time CHILDREN DAY, and new day on the calender on Greenland. Their live about 32,000 people, citizen of Greenland, and about 18.000 of them will be children, or just grown up. Their are need for special homes for children, where they can stay, if they hat lost their parents, or the father and mother will be on a long journey for works, and to help for building up this houses has the danish government decide to state a special "CHILDREN DAY" where many different plays we try to get money for the children gardens, and the schools.

    It was first time the children on Greenland test and saw the many small baby cars, the many different plays, there will be normally for children in Europe, and they took part in their own DAY, with a child's strongness.

    Many family live far away, normally in tent or IGLOO, houses build by snow, and it's not often the children got a chance to test and play as other children in Europe. It was therefor a very very big day for the children, and also their father and mother took part, and spend a couple of kroner on the plays.

    When the days was gone, and plays was over, the families start the long trip back to their settlement, and will wait until the winter are over, and the next children day will begin.
