The Committee of Four comprised Mr. Mohammed Al Khawli of Syria; the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Beirut, Mr. Ali Shaer; the Kuwaiti Ambassador, Mr. Abdul Hamid Be???jan, and the Egyptian Ambassador, Mr. Ahmad Lufti Al-Metwalli.

President Sarkis is reported to have rejected any changes or amendments to the Lebanese interpretation of the agreement.
