    An Armenian clandestine organisation has claimed responsibility for Sunday's (18 November) bomb attacks which wrecked three foreign airline offices in central Paris, injuring three policemen. The group claimed the attacks were aimed at "world imperialism" and the Turkish State in particular. The Turkish airline office was extensively damaged along with the offices of West Germany's "Lufthansa" and the Dutch airline. "KLM".

    SYNOPSIS: The late night explosions came within minutes of each other. All were located around the Place de 1'Opera area of Paris, and all caused considerable damage.

    An anonymous telephone caller told a foreign News Agency in Paris soon after the explosion, that a commando of the "Secret army for the Liberation of Armenia" was responsible.

    The bomb attacks were said to have been aimed at world imperialism. The Turkish airline bomb was strong enough to smash the windows of neighbouring buildings. Three policemen, guarding the Turkish offices were injured in the blast. Two were admitted to hospital. According to witnesses, the man who placed the bomb in the Turkish airlines office, covered his get-away by firing shots from a gun. No arrests have been made.
