The war in South East Asia has produced an enormous number of refugees over the years. The latest people to be uprooted from their homes by the fighting are the Laotians, mostly Meo tribesmen from the mountains of Laos. A smaller group of Laotians, however, are also on the move in the face of Communist forces -- they are the Laos lowland tribes, who have for centuries made a living on the banks of the mighty river Mekong.
This production is a current situationer, complete with a track of good natural sound, showing the effect the war has had on these people.
