    FOREIGN MINISTERS OF THE SEVEN NATIONS FIGHTING IN VIETNAM MET IN BANGKOK YESTERDAY (THURSDAY) TO DISCUSS THE CONFLICT IN SOUTH EAST ASIA.

    ALL MINISTERS AGREED THAT THE PROPOSALS TO WITHDRAW FOREIGN TROOPS FROM SOUTH VIETNAM SHOULD BE EXTENDED TO INCLUDE LAOS AND CAMBODIA.

    IN A COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE ONE-DAY CONFERENCE, THEY SAID THEY VIEWED WITH GRAVE CONCERN THE CONTINUING PRESENCE OF A LARGE NUMBER OF NORTH VIETNAMESE TROOPS IN LAOS AND THEIR USE OF LAOTIAN TERRITORY IN VIOLATION OF THE 1962 GENEVA AGREEMENTS.

    THE MINISTERS WHO ATTENDED THE CONFERENCE WERE MR. THANAT KHOMAN OF THAILAND, MR. KYU HAH CHOI OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA, MR. KEITH HOLYOAKE OF NEW ZEALAND, MR. TRAN CHANH THANH OF SOUTH VIETNAM, GENERAL CARLOS P. ROMULO OF THE PHILIPPINES, MR. WILLIAM P. ROGERS OF THE UNITED STATES, AND GORDON FREETH OF AUSTRALIA.

    ALL THE COUNTRIES REPRESENTED AGREED TO CONTINUE THEIR SUPPORT OF SOUTH VIETNAM UNTIL A PEACEFUL SOLUTION WAS REACHED.

    THE CONFERENCE, ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED TO LAST FOR TWO DAYS, ENDED LAST NIGHT AS "THERE WERE NO MAJOR DIFFERENCES."
