    At St. Jean de Luz--a French town bordering with Spain--Senor Monzon, the President of the Basque Organisation Anai Artea (which means "Aid Among Brothers"), yesterday (Tuesday) read to reporters a letter which had been smuggled out of prison by one of the six condemned to death men in Burgos, and in which they declared they did not wish Franco's Pardon, but wanted to die "for the freedom of our Basque country."
    Sr. Monzon, who is in his sixties, refused to disclose the name of the author of the letter, but read it saying:
