Background: A group of roughly fifty students managed to get into the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi and go on a sit in to protest against the Iranian Government of Ayattollah Khomeini. The sit has started as Indian universities and colleges have refused admission to those Iranian students who do not have their passport duly stamped by the Embassy of Ira in there by signifying that the Iranian government would support the education of such students in India. At a time of Ramazan some of the students were said to be smoking and drinking inside the embassy. Delhi's police guarded the Embassy from outside while no one allowed to enter it.
