    Their Royal Highnesses Princess Sophie and Irene of Greece honoured this evening the exhibition and exercises of crippled children on the occasion of the end of 1959-60 academic season of the Hellenic Society for Crippled Children which is under the High Patronage of Queen Frederika. Affiliated member of the International Society for Welfare of Crippled, the Hellenic Society helps every year hundreds of needy crippled children. The organization is subsidized by philanthropist individuals, as well as by national and international societies and groups, such as the Unitarian Service Committee of Canada, The Save the Children of Great Britain and Canada, The Victorian Society of Crippled Children of Australia, The Wingfield Morris Hospital, Oxford, Britain, Anglo-Hellenic League of London, etc. Objectives of the Hellenic Society of Crippled are: the preservation and cure of child infirmity, the primary and secondary education, as well as vocational guidance of those among them who are able to work.
